ENLIGHTENMENT UNFOLDING

Courtney Davis                                                                                                   John Fielder

When they were introduced, for the first time, over 20 years ago at the Swan Inn at Abbotsbury, Dorset it was like two old friends meeting after a separation of many, many years; anxious to catch up, yet relaxed and trusting in the others company.

From that evening Courtney Davis and John Fielder became firm friends and before they met they had already been exploring their spiritual paths.

Courtney had recently come to Abbotsbury from St Austell and was staring to build a worldwide reputation as the artist who has re-awakened the visions and exquisite artwork of the ancient Celtic Illuminati, and for bringing to life the mystic symbolism, myths and imagery of Celtic art in a contemporary style that is uniquely his own.

John had recently changed his life’s path and was starting to build a substantial business and reputation in career transition management, utilising NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), psychological profiling, coaching, group training and various healing methodologies to assist 1000s of people in the coming years to understand themselves, their potential, recognise new opportunities and take them.

That was 20 years ago, and now Courtney and John are bringing to our ever evolving world the fruits of those seeds of friendship sown so many years ago.

Courtney is now internationally recognised; and since his first series of black and white prints published in the book that he is most closely  associated with, ‘Merlin Awakens’, he has been commissioned to produce covers for new age music, illustrated over 45 published books, such as Celtic Borders and Decoration, The Art of Celtia, The Celtic Tarot, St Patrick – A Visual Celebration and The Celtic Source Book that have become Iconic Celtic Art Classics.

Also, his work has been exhibited widely in Europe and as far a field as Tokyo and Australia, with his first American exhibition in Chicago in 1995. Since then he has exhibited regularly in the USA. Many of his original pieces can be located in private and institutional collections, in chapels and museums in America and increasingly, worldwide.  Continued
